In the rapidly evolving field of developmental affective neuroscience, I study the role of attention in social-emotional development and novel interventions to promote healthy development.
Engaged teaching brings together students and stakeholders across the community and academy, promoting deeper learning and real-world outcomes.
Mentoring is a central focus of my work. I have mentored 15 undergraduates, half currently in or applying to graduate/professional programs. I take a supportive, collaborative approach to mentorship.
