To address these questions, my research looks at what happens when brain functioning is altered by typical or atypical development, by intervention, or by brain injury. Further, my research approach involves multiple levels (basic and applied), perspectives (neural, psychological, and philosophical), and techniques (neuroimaging, psychophysiological, eye tracking, interventions, lesion patients, and high-risk populations). Students are a central part of my research program.
